E-learning for nurses
Challenge: Improve online course on language skills for foreign-born nurses.
Solution: Recruit nurses working in the U.S. for whom English is a second language. Conduct usability study using the think-aloud protocol, testing key portions of the online-course. Conduct A/B test of two versions of home page. Administer SUS (system usability scale) to assess usability of the course. Identify issues with content, page format and recording mechanism to improve the course before launch.
